With the ink barely dry on the ceasefire, Netanyahu expropriates 1000 acres of Palestinian land. Some Israelis argue it is punishment for the murder of three young Israeli students. First, in any civilized society it is those who commit the crime who are punished, after due legal process. Second, collective punishment is illegal under international law. Third, expropriation of occupied land is also illegal under international law. And fourth, further land grabs make a Palestinian state even less viable.
How much more evidence does the western world need to see that the real obstacle to peace between Israel and Palestine is Israel. Netanyahu has no intention of seeking a meaningful peace with the Palestinians. And that means ongoing conflict and further radicalisation of young Muslims.

P.S. Yes, I can spell, you can work it out….
